The oldest and largest of the St Giles offices, which predominantly deals with the London-based property clients. Two of our directors are based here, supported by an experienced and established administrative team, virtually all of whom have been with the company over 5 years.

Andy’s career began in property underwriting and claims over 15 years ago but his main focus has been in broking. He advises on and places both residential and commercial portfolios for managing agents and property companies. He is also responsible for the day to day running of the London office and is an expert on the FSA procedures for managing agents.

Alan has a lifetime’s experience in insurance and finance gained in both the banking and property sectors, enabling him to create and lead a dynamic group of companies. He runs the group's affairs as Chairman as well as advising both residential and commercial clients, both here and in Australia.

Darren began his career with a major general insurer nearly 20 years ago. He has varied insurance experience and has even spent a period of time in the metal and commodities exchange before returning to broking in 2002.

Established in 1995, it has a nationwide property client base. Monica Boyd is the director and she has a good team of insurance experienced people providing a quality service to her clients.

Monica has over 15 years experience in commercial insurance, the majority of which was specialising in property insurance. She places property portfolios for her clients and advises them using her wealth of technical knowledge and expertise which also covers the FSA regulations.

Jay is the Liverpool office manager. She has been with St Giles for over 10 years and in that time has helped develop the Liverpool Branch to be the successful, profitable and professional office we see today. Jay is aways on hand to give internal or external customers advice about policy cover, quotations, administration and any other issue relating to insurance broking. She is also responsible for strengthening our relationship with suppliers.

Our newest branch opened in 2003 and like Liverpool has property-based clients throughout the UK. Kevin Horton and his team provide the same wide range of services to the same high St Giles standard.

Kevin has over 20 years insurance industry experience, and since 1993 has been specialising in placing residential and commercial insurance portfolios for property clients, both managing agents and property owners/developers. Like Monica, Kevin also has excellent technical knowledge plus training experience which he has extended to include the FSA regulations and procedures.

The only specialist office of St Giles, the director Malcolm Gordon together with Stephen Levey and their legal services team moved here in 2002 when they outgrew the Central London premises. This office now specialises in professional indemnity insurance for a wide range of professions, including solicitors, accountants, Home Inspectors, Surveyors, Estate Agents, Managing Agents and Architects.
St Giles Financial Solutions, launched in March 2006, offers impartial independent financial advice to the professional market, specifically tailored for the requirements of partners of professional practices.

Malcolm is a solicitor and is responsible for all group legal matters. He specialises in placing and advising on professional indemnity insurance, particularly for the legal profession. Malcolm has over 15 years commercial and litigation experience gained with a city firm and as a partner in a niche practice. Malcolm is also a director in Procript Ltd which has developed specialist email encryption software for professionals.

Stephen is also a solicitor and has over 20 years experience in all aspects of property law, 10 of these as a partner in a specialist West End practice. With a great number of claims against solicitors being property related, Stephen’s experience is essential in negotiating competitive premiums for clients who conduct property work. Stephen is also a director of St Giles Financial Solutions Ltd.

Simon is a solicitor and was in private practice for some 15 years, 10 of which were spent as a partner. He specialised in litigation and property matters and has significant experience in risk management and expertise in placing professional indemnity insurance for solicitors, surveyors, accountants and IFAs. Simon is also at the forefront in negotiating insurance for providers of Home Information Packs and cover for home inspectors.
